The Jackdaw

Yesterday my sister asked me for help in rescuing a bird in her sealed up chimney - she had to unscrew the grill to get to it thinking it would just fly out into a cat box she had ready. As it turned out it wasn't that simple as there was a pile of debris in the way. She had been talking to it and whistling and it would respond by cawing - which along with the pics we identified as it being a Jackdaw - it didn't look like one initially because it looked all black - not grey round the head as pictured, but I am not reknown for seeing whats in front of my face! Thankfully the RSPB audio confirmed it as the lovely creature chatted to us. My sister went to pick her daughter up from school leaving me to dig the debris out of the way and at the back the Jackdaw was bobbing around. It had been there about a day, and wasn't too sure of me, until it saw it could come forward out of the hole. I had a torch shining in and as I was on the floor with my face up to the hole, it bobbed down and looked straight at me - with peircing blue eyes. Split second moment I felt kinda awed by the experience. I was about to move the pile of dirt on the floor to one side to move the box in front, but in a split second the bird was out into the house and perched on top of my sisters TV! It looked alot larger out than it did in the chimney. As I approached it to guide it out of the open double doors into the garden, it feel down the back of the TVso I had to fish it out as it tried to squeeze into the corner to escape me. My mum had meanwhile bent over to pick the cat box up - as she did so, the bird flew over to her - landed on her back before launching itself out into the garden and off! Just like that it was gone and free. I felt relieved, and shaken - as I was hoping tp dear God it would be OK and go free. I had asked the angels to help us free it safely before hand. My sister was relieved I had freed it and had missed the episode as she and her daughter would probably have freaked out about it. My mum seemed OK with the whole thing and being used as a launching pad for the bird.

Apparently Jackdaws mate for life and the whole thing while symbolic for each of us, for me when I asked about it, it came up in my cards this morning it has a Twin Flame relevance - that it was about me helping to shine a light on Twin Flames in the darkness, to encourage them out to their freedom, by heping removing the "debris" in their lives and letting them out into the world to find their own way. Nice one Universe. For my Mum it was a sign from my stepdad - her husband who died last year from cancer. She works with Azrael, the angel of death, doing transistional healing amongst other things and tends to find black feathers and related signs unlike most of us who get white feathers for angels. She had asked for a sign from him, although for some reason my sister seems to be the one who gets targeted first with them! :)

“Testing” The Universe…

There’s been times I “tested” the connection to see what would happen, if I enthusiastically asked for what seemed like unlikely stuff to ...
